Honors, Awards & Recognitions

Each achievement in a person's life is significant to displaying who they are and that they.  My professional and academic career are no exception to this feeling of accomplishment.  Allow me to share some of those accomplishments with you.

Honors

Honor Society Induction

As a result of maintaining high marks within my course of studies for the Graduate Program, I was inducted into the Honors Society where the regalia (pictured to the right bottom) will be worn at Graduation 2021.  My official certificate was presented on March 30, 2021.

Awards

Admin Employee of the Year 2017 - Runner Up

In January 2018, I was awarded the Admin Employee of the Year Runner Up award to highlight excellent performance, customer satisfaction and added value to the company through my daily efforts.

Admin Employee of the Year 2018

After receiving the runner up award for 2017, the collective senior administration continued to follow my service performance from the previous year.  In their collective consideration, I was awarded Admin Employee of the Year for 2018

Various Service Awards (1999-2002

In my earliest employment opportunities, I was awarded several certificates in customer service, phone etiquette and service performance awards.

These awards include certificates of customer service from Teletech and a Top Performers (Top 5%) Award.

Recognitions

A Moment of Celebration

Over the years, I have had the tremendous pleasure of working with some incredibly talented, passionate and inspiring staff members.  As Residence Life Coordinator, I was charged with overseeing a staff of 17 Resident Assistants and 5 additional staff personnel.  Managing a team is challenging; however, I was able to gain their trust and even receive notes such as the one shown here.

AUM Wisdom Sharing

P.A.S.S.P.O.R.T., a program designed to help mentor freshmen students, invited me to share my experiences and wisdom on navigating the culture, academics and environment of Auburn University Montgomery.

Inspiring Success

The Warhawk Academic Success Center's (W.A.S.C.) goal is to direct students to college resources and support systems to meet or improve their academic goals.  I was honored to share my experiences and insight by taking advantage of the service offered by the WASC and how they allowed me to meet my goals and to forever be a Warhawk Alumni.

Speaking on Culture

As a diverse community, the campus of Auburn University Montgomery challenges us to look our differences and find what connects us.  As part of the Department of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, I was honored to speak at the "Series of Culture" event where we discussed the impact of Southeastern American culture on foreign students and students from outside of this select region.  The event allowed us to create new community bonds and create new dialogue on cultural differences.

Honoring Others

As a Residence Life Coordinator, I was fortunate to work with a diverse, passionate and influential team that kept the housing program dynamic and engaging for all the residents on campus.  To honor them, I was afforded the opportunity to create the Housing Honors Assembly:  a moment to recognize the efforts of our staff and to honor the RA of the Year, Mr./Ms. Congeniality and Rockstar of the Year awards.  To the left is an image of this incredible staff.
